Was Burrow listed on the injury report? If not, they're probably going to be fined

Belichick was fined for not disclosing some insignificant injury to Brady. So he proceeded to list Brady has questionable for the next few years (or some long time anyhow)

He wasn't listed on the injury report because he wasn't injured

He has worn that thing on his arm several times this season on road trips to prevent swelling at altitude

He was a full go at practice all week

The NFL is investigating why the Bengals did not list QB Joe Burrow on their injury report when the team posted a picture of him wearing a device on his wrist Wednesday night and he appeared to be hampered by the injury early in the Thursday night game that he later left, the league confirmed today. The initial picture of Burrow wearing a device that looked like a soft cast on his thumb was posted by the Bengals, only to be deleted later. The NFL routinely looks into matters of compliance with the Injury Report policy, and will do so in this instance as well. Teams can be fined or even potentially lose a draft pick.

You're begging the question my friend

And I do believe he was less than 100%

I don't think that device had anything to do with his injury personally as bad as the optics are. But I guess we may never know.

Burrow to his fault is stubborn -- he's a warrior but think he downplays pain

I think just a freak thing when Clowney landed on him, and he tried to play through it

I could be wrong but if a player fully practices
Don't have to declare injury
Only dnp or limited

I guessing the Bengals "knew or should have known" he was less than 100%

I'm not 100% sure why the NFL has injury reports like they do. Are they trying to protect Vegas? It's very odd, but it is what it is

With UConn and college basketball, it's frustrating for the fans that they really don't tell us anything about the severity or impact of ay injury unless it's season ending. They keep us all guessing, but they can. There's no rule about reporting injuries.

I was wondering why a team must be so thoroughly honest about disclosing injuries anyway? Part of the guessing game, old school etc. Now all these snowflakes have to be 100% transparent and not offend anyone. We’d hate it if someone was offended. I’m offended by how arrogantly two faced the NFL is.

The NFL has had injury reports for years for gamblers. The NFL knows why it is the most popular sport. It's because of gambling. Now it is even more so with the league officially in bed with gambling websites. Every fifth commercial urges you to sign up and start throwing your money away. Burrow was hurt during the game. I'm sure Goodell has made it clear that teams don't fuck around with QB injury reports for this very reason.
